After owning a local fishing shop for 18 years, we were forced to close the doors. This was due to multiple factors, but most notably, the competition from big box and internet stores, was just too fierce. Throughout the years, we noticed a sharp decline in the amount of children and young people coming through our shop. This is where RAR reels was born. Started with an idea, and brought to life thanks to pro-bono patent work, from the UCLA Law Clinic.

Simply put, we want to get young people fishing! With the ever increasing dependence on technology, less and less kids are making an effort to get outside. Our product is the perfect way to make this happen. Pull it out of the box, and play alongside all of the other cars in the toy box. Offer to take the cars outside, and head to the lake. Put it on the rod, and CATCH FISH! You'll have yourself a fisherman for life, by showing the young people in your life a good time.
